It is maybe the third time I have stayed here, and my good experiences keep bringing me back. This was a weekend stay after working in Berlin earlier in the week. The apartment is stylish in a really fun way, and very comfortable. The location is outstanding, with a lot of fun local dining options and excellent transportation links to the rest of the city.

Canceled because of a funeral, very rude email reply

This would have been our weekend wedding anniversary, unfortunately we could not go because of a funeral. We made bookings with the cancelation fee, but off course had to cancel. We were a few hours late, so we did not make the 48 hour window of cancelation. We cancelled online, and within the description added, that it was because of a funeral. The gorki apartment charged the full amount of 100 % to my credit card. Without notifying me, without any form of communication. We have been costumers sinds 2016,,,,,,,, this is very very disappointing. When I emailed the front desk about it, the email that I got was very un personal, they wished me all the best. And did not even offer condoleances. This use to be our favorite hangout, but never ever again, will we book here.

Couldn’t fault our stay, location is brilliant, room we stayed in was really clean and looked super cool. Really comfortable bed. Text reception to borrow an iron/ironing board and they brought it up within minutes. Will definitely stay at Gorki and recommend to friends
